Friday daily sheep summary

Consignments eased at Wagga, with 25,000 lambs and 7,600 sheep yarded. Quality remains good across the young lambs. All buyers attended, however not all operated at capacity.
- Light weight 2 score young lambs to restockers were 19¢ cheaper on 600¢/kg cwt
- Trade weight 3 score young lambs to slaughter slipped 11¢ to 573¢/kg cwt
- Heavy weight 3 score young lambs to slaughter lifted 2¢ to average 564¢/kg cwt
- Trade weight 3 score old Merino lambs decreased 45¢ to 468¢/kg cwt
- Medium weight 2 score Merino ewes gained 15¢ to 357¢, while the 3 score lines eased 42¢ to settle on 368¢/kg cwt
- Heavy weight 3 score Merino ewes slipped 3¢ to average 407¢/kg cwt
At the conclusion of Thursday’s markets:
- The eastern states restocker lamb indicator was 4¢ higher on 581¢/kg cwt
- Merino lambs slipped 4¢ to 515¢/kg cwt
- Light lambs were 3¢ higher on 540¢/kg cwt
- The Eastern States Trade Lamb Indicator (ESTLI) was 1¢ higher on 575¢/kg cwt
- The heavy lamb indicator lifted 2¢ to 573¢/kg cwt
- The mutton indicator eased 2¢ to 383¢/kg cwt
