Cold change brings rain to the south east

Widespread falls of 10-50mm were recorded across the majority of Tasmania, Victoria, NSW and southern SA, with isolated pockets measuring up to 100mm. Scattered light showers up to 10mm fell over south east Queensland and south western parts of WA while the remainder of the country remained dry.
