Ahead of International Women’s Day on 8 March, we share some of the inspiring women we have been fortunate enough to tell the stories and experiences of.

Whether it’s out in the paddock or beyond the farm gate, these women are marching forward (the theme of this year’s celebration) to achieve success in the industry.

Emma King

Cattle producer – ‘Echo Hills’, south-east Queensland 

When Emma King arrived at ‘Echo Hills’ in 2021, she relied on AgriWebb’s mapping tool to help navigate the property. Since then, she’s been an enthusiastic adopter of ag-tech in the south-east Queensland cattle enterprise she manages with her husband Angus.

After completing the Training Rural Australians in Leadership (TRAIL) program, Megan Krause has learnt how to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Identifying herself as a quiet leader, she now understands that her leadership still provides value in a team environment.
