MLA’s Annual General Meeting – your voting entitlements

08 Jul 2025

This year’s Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in Adelaide on 20 November 2025 and will be run as a hybrid event where you can attend in person or online. Venue and online access information will be confirmed closer to the event date.

Voting entitlements are allocated based on the transactions that have occurred during the period 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025. This information is notified to MLA by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry through the levy payer register.

To ensure we can allocate voting entitlements accurately, we must be able to match members to information we receive from the Levy Payer Register. If you have not previously done so, please advise MLA of the ABN you use on your levy return form to DAFF by 31 July 2025.

If an MLA member is unable to match to the Levy Payer Register, they will receive only one vote at the AGM.
