PGS Train the Trainer
During March, Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS) will be offering development opportunities for livestock advisors looking to upskill in coaching skills and deliver new PGS supported learning packages.
The PGS training series will run online over three sessions and will include a ‘Coaching Skills Fundamentals’ session as well as two ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions for newly released packages. Spaces are limited, sign up now to avoid disappointment.

Gra$$ to Dollars is based on the highly successful Prograze® course, but with more emphasis on putting these principles into practice on-farm using the MLA-supported learning concept. This workshop will be delivered by Tim Prance, from T Prance Rural Consulting.
The delivery of this package will support producers in upskilling in the following areas: pasture assessment, condition scoring livestock, pasture grazing management, optimising pasture utilisation.

ParaBoss Webinar: Controlling bush ticks and theileriosis in Australian cattle

Since 2006, a deadly cattle disease called theileriosis has swept through Australian herds, spread by bush ticks and causing serious productivity losses for producers.
Join us for our first ParaBoss webinar as we explore the topic of controlling bush ticks and theileriosis in Australian cattle. We will be joined by ParaBoss Technical Lead and renowned parasitologist Dr Matt Playford, who will take you on a guided tour of the life cycle of the bush tick as well as known risk factors, epidemiology, economics, animal health impacts along with diagnostics and control options for bush ticks Haemaphysalis longicornis and theileriosis which is a deadly disease of cattle caused by Theileria orientalis.
