Gulfood in Dubai breaks records again

Gulfood 2024 hit a new high this year with record numbers of attendees walking the trade show floors.

Across the five-day event, attendees from around the world cemented the trade show's evolution from regional to global, with the trade show continuing to remain the largest to date.

• 100,000+ attendees from more than 190 countries
• 5,500 exhibitors from more than 190 countries
• 35 companies exhibited in the MLA booth 
• Celebrity Chef Tarek Ibrahim and Aussie Beef Mates supported sampling and red meat showcases in the MLA section.

MLA’s presence

MLA’s booth hosted 35 Australian red meat exporting companies, with the exhibiters showcasing their full range and variety of Australian red meat products from mutton to high-end Wagyu.

At the conclusion of the event, reports from MLA exhibitors and attendees alike featured returning optimism and confidence with regards to Gulfood’s rising numbers - which has come as inbound travel numbers continue to grow rapidly since borders opened in October 2022.
