Have your say on MLA
04 June 2015
South Australian and western NSW producers: MLA is coming your way.
Don't forget to register to have input into the future direction of your marketing and R&D levies when MLA's 'Your Levy, Your Industry" forums move to South Australia and western NSW next week.
Following regional forums in Queensland and Western Australia in 2014 and events at Casino and Tamworth, NSW, and at Wangaratta, Bairnsdale and Hamilton, Victoria, MLA will host functions at Bordertown on 16 June, Clare on 17 June and Broken Hill on 18 June 2015.
The “Your Levy, Your Industry” forums are designed to provide beef, sheepmeat and goat producers with an opportunity to hear from MLA’s Managing Director, Richard Norton, learn about MLA’s new R&D consultation model and have input into the future direction of their marketing and R&D levies. Most importantly, the forums will allow MLA to hear directly from producers.
Peak industry bodies including the Cattle Council of Australia and the Sheepmeat Council of Australia will also attend the forums and will present on industry key priority areas.
All producers are welcome to attend this free event. Complimentary morning tea, refreshments and BBQ lunch will be provided.
