This Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF) Program, now in its 11th year, takes emerging leaders aged 25–39 years from different agricultural sectors, locations and cultural backgrounds on a seven-day challenge-based program to expand their leadership skills.
It includes a four-day outdoor leadership experience in the mountains outside Canberra, numerous workshops, panel sessions, and seminars to build and develop leadership skills.
Participants will:
- explore adaptive strategies to address complex issues and situations
- increase awareness of the six ARLF leadership practices
- develop an understanding of how behaviour impacts on relationships with others

The TRAIL Program has developed over 150 emerging leaders over 10 years and all graduates join a network of over 2,000 ARLF alumni across the country.
