Leucaena - only For grazing | Rockhampton, Queensland

The ‘Leucaena: Only for Grazing’ initiative aims to inform, educate and develop positive working relationships between new and potential leucaena producers throughout Australia, representatives of key Queensland local government Councils in current or emerging leucaena producing areas; and relevant government and industry bodies to ensure future productive leucaena grazing outcomes and environmental responsibility.

The focus of the event will be to provide all attendees with an overview of the techniques for successful leucaena establishment and the benefits of leucaena to the grazing industry and to the towns and communities in which graziers reside. The event will also emphasise the responsibilities undertaken by leucaena producers to ensure environmental management of their plantings.
