- The current state of global efficient beef research with Professor Sam Clark
- Mature cow traits and efficiency with Dr Malshani Samaraweer
- Methane and link to efficiency with Associate Professor Fran Cowley
- Challenges of recording methane with Dr Tom Granleese
- Genetic evaluation analysis of methane in SMB and ASBP herds with Dr Mette Madsen

The day also includes field trip to Tullimba Feedlot (bus provided) to view Southern Multi Breed and Angus Sire Benchmarking Program steers.
Event timetable
- 09.30am: Morning tea arrival 9.30
- 10.00am: Presentations
- 12.15pm: Lunch
- 1.45pm: Leave on bus to Tullimba
- 4.30pm: Return from Tullimba to UNE
