MLA’s Aus Good Meat schools program

Australian Good Meat Education offers an extensive range of free, curriculum-aligned and classroom-ready primary to high school resources designed for digital or hardcopy use.

In the lead up to this year’s Beef Australia, registered teachers and classrooms were provided with fundamental and curriculum-aligned learning about the industry to adopt over the six weeks leading up to this year’s event. During the week of Beef Australia 2024, students will then attend structured educational sessions to further connect them with the industry and the various jobs required through dedicated Career Chats events. With the support of red meat industry ambassadors, MLA will also host daily sessions educating students about beef farming practices with a focus on sustainable production and animal wellbeing.
