Overview

GIRDAC representatives provide advice and endorsement relating to goat levy R&D priorities, terms of reference development and review, appointment of service providers and review of current project progress.

It operates independently to the Goat Industry Council of Australia (GICA) as an MLA-appointed and funded committee.

The eight-person committee has a national focus and is comprised of commercial goat producers along with value chain, service providers and subject matter expert representatives as required.

Meat & Livestock Australia is calling for applications from Harvested Rangeland Goat producers to fill two (2) available Committee position on the Goat Industry Research, Development and Adoption Committee (GIRDAC).
